At Abingdon Flooring, sustainability is a core responsibility. They recycle 95% of waste, use renewable energy, deliver carpets with zero-emission vehicles, and protect biodiversity through a dedicated Nature Reserve. Their UK-made Exquisite collection combines luxury with responsibility, using sustainable materials, long-life design, and eco-friendly production. With a clear goal of achieving Carbon Net Zero by 2037, including a transition to green hydrogen, they are leading their industry towards a cleaner, greener future.
Cormar Carpet Company - A28
Their next chapter is defined by bold, measurable targets to strengthen their leadership in sustainable flooring. Over the next five years, they will cut energy use by 30%, power key manufacturing with renewables, achieve net zero across all sites, and further reduce transport emissions with a cleaner fleet. They are also enabling nationwide carpet recycling through partnerships like Innovate Recycle, exploring ways to turn latex waste into fuel, and advancing fibre recycling research with universities. Guided by expert ESG consultancy, these actions ensure they meet today’s challenges while anticipating tomorrow’s—delivering lasting benefits for customers, communities, and the planet.
Alliance Floor Distribution - A35
As of July 2024, Alliance Floor Distribution achieved ISO 14001 certification with a new environmental policy and full workforce training, passing their 2025 audit with zero non-conformances. As a transport company, they are proud to lead with five electric HGVs delivering over 9 million m² of flooring carbon-free this year, alongside 300 weekly carbon-free deliveries into Central London. Their sites feature living roofs with bird and insect habitats, a carbon-neutral truck wash powered by rainwater recycling, and over 2,000 newly planted trees and plants. With 5% fuel savings through advanced driver training, a target for 100% EV or biodiesel trunking fleet, zero waste to landfill by 2025, and additional ISO accreditations in progress, they are setting high standards for sustainable logistics.

F. Ball & Co. Ltd. - Stand B1
F. Ball and Co. Ltd., the UK’s leading flooring adhesives manufacturer, embeds sustainability into every stage of its operations. ISO 14001 certified, they cut energy use with efficient technologies and over 1,700 solar panels, preventing 59 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Their industry-first recycling scheme has diverted 13 tonnes of plastic from landfill, with recyclable packaging and nationwide collection points supporting the circular economy. By reducing raw material use, expanding renewables, and engaging employees in continuous improvement, they are driving measurable progress and setting new standards for sustainable manufacturing.
Mapei - Stand B5
Mapei is expanding its Zero Line of low-VOC, high-performance products while investing heavily in renewable energy, with photovoltaic systems installed across sites in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In 2023 alone, these generated 3.4 million kWh, avoiding 1,400 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. They also promote circularity through paper bag recycling in Italy, turning used packaging into new bags, and maintain Carbon Reduce certification in the UK with independently verified emissions reporting. Palace Chemicals is driving sustainability with renewable energy, closed-loop recycling, and zero waste to landfill, backed by over 20 years of ISO 14001 accreditation. They have installed 842 solar panels, converted more than two million containers to post-consumer recycled plastic, and increased the use of recycled content in products like EXTRA-LITE and GEL-TEC. With transparent EPDs, responsible sourcing, and award-winning initiatives, they are reducing carbon impact while delivering high-performance, durable adhesives.

Make An Entrance - Stand C10
Make An Entrance Ltd embeds sustainability in every aspect of its coir matting business, using 100% natural, renewable materials and recyclable packaging while preserving traditional hand-stitched craftsmanship. Their prison workshop programme delivers social impact by training and employing prisoners, alongside environmentally responsible production. With plans to expand internationally, localise manufacturing, and explore circular solutions, they aim to reduce emissions, safeguard heritage skills, and promote social responsibility. By 2030, they strive to be a global leader in sustainable matting, combining environmental, social, and cultural impact.
Tarkett - Stand C12
For over 140 years, Tarkett has placed people and the planet at the heart of its flooring business through its Human-Conscious Design® approach. They reduce environmental impact by using renewable and abundant materials, implementing eco-design principles, and promoting circular economy practices such as recycling vinyl, carpet tiles, and linoleum through their ReStart® program. Tarkett has cut greenhouse gas emissions, improved indoor air quality, and expanded renewable energy use while responsibly sourcing raw materials and collaborating with suppliers to uphold sustainability standards. Through ImpacT2027, they continue to innovate, train employees, support diversity, and develop products that combine durability, health, and environmental responsibility, aiming for net-zero emissions, increased recycled content, and safer, more sustainable spaces for generations to come.
Cavalier Carpets - C32
Tover - Stand C59
Since 2011, Tover have powered 80% of their production with solar energy and are the first flooring chemical manufacturer to package products, including solvent-free MS polymers and self-linking water-based commercial lacquers, in recycled plastic. Their next goal is to transition to 100% solar-powered production.
Greendale Carpets & Flooring - Stand C66
In 2025, Greendale partnered with No Floor No More to donate over £20,000 of discontinued and roll-end carpet, keeping material out of landfill. They complement this with solar-powered production, recycled and recyclable packaging, and a 50% reduction in waste to landfill, much of which is redirected to charities. Many single-fibre ranges are fully recyclable, and ongoing partnerships with charities and suppliers help expand recycling and sustainable practices, keeping environmental responsibility at the heart of their operations.
Kronospan - Stand C75
At Kronospan , sustainability is central to operations, from sourcing FSC® or PEFC-certified timber to maximising the use of post-consumer and sawmill waste in production. Their UK laminate flooring site in Chirk supports local suppliers, uses wood efficiently to manufacture MDF, and offers products with negative Global Warming Potential due to the carbon stored in timber. End-of-life flooring is recycled through Silva Recycling Ltd. into particleboard containing at least 85% post-consumer content. Kronospan is advancing decarbonisation by upgrading to a 132kV grid connection, installing biomass CHP and solar PV, converting forklifts to electric, and exploring low-carbon resins, while supporting reforestation efforts with over 100,000 trees planted in the UK last year as part of a broader goal of one million annually.

By choosing UK-manufactured Carpet Underlay, you reduce transport-related fuel use and carbon emissions, while supporting the reuse of post-consumer foam from mattresses that would otherwise go to landfill.
